Welcome to the University of Minnesota Center for Cardiovascular Repair.

Our Goal

Our goal is to change the future of medicine by developing new therapies to prevent, treat, and cure disease. We believe that's possible. Our dream is to change the world.

We seek to improve health and save lives by developing stem cell-based strategies to prevent damage to the heart and other organs and counter the adverse consequences of damage when it does occur.

Our Mission

Our mission is to move novel cell-, gene-, and tissue engineering-based therapies safely and effectively from bench to bedside while preparing students and fellows to compete at an international level in the field of cardiac and vascular repair and regeneration.

We create cutting-edge therapies for chronic disease, including aging, and educate scientists, physicians, and the community in the treatments of tomorrow.
